Puerto Vallarta

I lost my iPhone in Mexico and therefore my favorite app (and hobby at the moment), Instagram.  I suppose some things come as a blessing in disguise.  I always make up excuses as to why I shouldn't bring my beautiful Canon 5D with me.  I stand out when I have my 5D and I don't want to draw attention to myself, the iPhone is smaller.  It's too heavy.  I don't want it to get dirty.  It's too expensive to use.  I think my 5D intimidates me because I'm expected to take amazing photos with it, whereas with my iPhone, there are no expectations.

With no iPhone, I've challenged myself to start taking Insta-like photos with my 5D, and then train myself how to use Photoshop and make cool filters.

So here it is, the ocean in Puerto Vallarta, where I lost my iPhone.

Taken with my Canon 5D, and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
