What Is Home? Cristy McNabb in Nashville

I met Cristy when I went to explore an amazing denim shop in Nashville, Tennessee called Imogene + Willie. I was trying on a pair of shorts and Cristy was the lady helping me with them. As southern hospitality goes, she was the sweetest lady in the world, and we quickly started chatting about the store and then other things. Eventually I told her about my project and asked if I could photograph and interview for it. The next morning, I drove to her house and was welcomed in. We chatted for a few hours and I was able to talk to her about what home is. My favorite part of this whole journey has been meeting new people and listening to their stories. It's a very humbling experience, and when I meet someone as wonderful as Cristy, everything feels like home, how it should be.
