The Leather Backpack by Cuyana

For the past year I have been searching endlessly for the perfect leather backpack, and I think I have finally found it, folks! Introducing the Leather Backpack by Cuyana, ethically made in Italy.

Over the past few years I’ve continued to minimize my closet, focusing on buying ethically made products that are known for their practicality (and comfort!), longevity and quality. A key in comfort has been ditching my purses and transitioning to backpacks which frees up my hands and saves me from a lot of back pain. That being said, sometimes practicality means sacrificing the prettiness of an item, and so I was super happy to find Cuyana’s backpack because it encompasses everything I want in a backpack, plus it is beyond beautiful!

The inside has two pouches for keys, chapstick, those kinds of things.

The color is a soft blush which is neutral enough that it goes with everything. The bag is big enough to fit my lunch in it, a book, notebook and a few other items I like to grab on the go (including my dog’s dinner), but is still elegant looking and not bulky. I also love that the backpack can transition into a tote bag if I want something a bit more chic for the day.

Cuyana is also a big believer in the idea that less is more, which I whole heartedly agree with. Check out more of Cuyana’s stuff by clicking here.
