Waiting for the ferry as a storm approaches. Missing the DRC
I took some photos of these beautiful boys while I was waiting for the ferry to arrive to take me across the river.
How could I not take their photo? These kids were so cute!
These little boys would not leave my side. I spent the day at their village in Bandundu, DRC, and they absolutely loved having their photo taken. I managed to sneak them away from all the other children to take a few photos of just them. As soon as I put my camera up, this was the immediate pose they gave me. Boys being boys.
Their eyes <3
I asked him to smile, so he did.
The kids in Bandundu LOVED getting their photos taken. It was sometimes overwhelming as they literally followed me everywhere I went, sneaking their faces in front of the camera. But, I couldn't ever say no to their smiles. :)
This little girl stood quietly in the back with a huge grin on her face. I walked away at first, and then stopped and looked back at her. Still grinning, she held up this cricket and this was the photo I got.
